Sohnitex Industries is a fully integrated manufacturer and exporter of towels, bath robes, bath mats, and all other types of terry fabric products made in Pakistan.  Our company has been part of the textile industry in this country since 1988, and in fact, our family has roots in textile and other related industries since before 1947, mainly in the area of Cotton ginning, spinning and fabric weaving. Continuing with that tradition, Sohnitex Industries is a family run operation with our CEO Mr. Idris Esmail Balagamwala and his sons controlling the management of the company. Our mill and offices are located in the port city of Karachi, which is the commercial and financial hub of Pakistan. More specifically, the Korangi Industrial Area, which has convenient access to both Port Qasim and Kemari Port of Karachi. Initially Our entire mill, all the machinery and the technical know how, was purchased and imported, in running condition, from a company in Golburn, Australia that was manufacturing towels and bathrobes for their local market and the USA. They helped us move and install all their machinery in our custom built building in Karachi, and then guided us with their experience in how to make a product that stands out in the International arena. Since then we have been striving to make the best and most value added terry products possible out of Pakistan and we have, by the grace of God and the hard work of our very talented human resources, developed a high reputation amongst our International and local customers. Currently, we are exporting our goods to; Australia, Norway, Denmark, USA, Lithuania, UK, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. We are regular participants at the Heimtex Exhibition held in Frankfurt, Germany; The Spring Fair held in Birmingham UK and The Home Textile Exhibition held in Las Vegas every year. Our products are also certified under the Oeko Tex 100 standard. We employee over 100 people and our annual sales are USD 2,400,000. We are lifetime members of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce, Towel Manufacturers Association of Pakistan, and Korangi Association of Trade and Industry.
